Mingus Busts Biniaminov
Level 13
: Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Andrew Bucaric opened to 11,000 in early position, and Baruch Biniaminov called in the small blind. John Mingus came along in the big blind, and the dealer flipped over the 9♠6♦10♦ flop.
Biniaminov led out for 11,000, and both opponents called to the 8♠ turn. Biniaminov moved all in, and was at risk when Mingus shoved his larger stack. Bucaric got out of the way, and the hands were turned up.
Baruch Biniaminov: J♣10♥
John Mingus: 7♦5♦
Mingus turned over his straight, and Biniaminov could not improve on the 8♥ river to end his run in the opening flight.
