Richard Pearl raised to 4,500 from the cutoff, and Devon Sturges called in the small blind. Steven Ott came along in the big blind, and the 2♥K♦6♥ flop was fanned out.
Sturges and Ott checked, with both calling a bet of 12,000 from Pearl. The 9♠ turn produced a trio of checks, and Sturges led out for 15,000 on the 10♣ river.
Ott and Pearl both called to showdown, where Sturges tabled 8♥7♥ for a straight. Ott mucked before Pearl showed 8♠7♠ for the same straight, and the dealer chopped up the pot.
