Covich Shows a Straight
Level 16
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Vernon Langston checked the J♦Q♠6♣7♠ turn from the small blind, and Saeed Nia followed with a check in the big blind. Frank Covich bet 12,000 in early position, and both opponents called to the 9♣ river.
Action was checked to Covich again, and he counted out a bet of 75,000. Langston made the call, while Nia took some time before letting his hand go.
Covich tabled K♣10♣ for a straight, taking down a big pot as Langston mucked.
