Salmins Continues to Run Good
Patrick Salmins was the first to act and raised to 11,000 preflop. He was called in two places by the button and the big blind to create a three-handed flop.
The flop brought fireworks after it came 7♣9♣8♦. The big blind checked before Salmins fired 20,000. The button jammed for 69,500, and the big blind called to put the button at risk. Salmins reshoved for more, and the big blind eventually called the rest of his stack to put himself at risk.
Button: K♠10♠
Big Blind: 10♣3♦
Patrick Salmins: A♣K♣
Salmins had the best of it with ace-high, but a club would shut down any opportunity for his opponents.
The 2♣ was just the card Salmins was looking for as he improved to a flush and sent his opponents packing as the irrelevant 7♦ peeled on the river.
