Ace for Holland
Level 7
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Ron Holland opened to 3,500 from the cutoff before the small blind went all-in for approximately 24,500. Holland mulled it over before he made the call to put the small blind at risk.
Small blind: 9♣9♠
Ron Holland: A♠4♠
The small blind's lead held on the 5♣8♣J♥, but the A♦ changed that as Holland pulled ahead with a pair of aces.
Holland held on the 6♦ river to score the knockout.
