First RGPS Passport Austin Champion to be Crowned

David Kim
David Kim

The final day of the first-ever RunGood Poker Series Passport Austin $600 Main Event has arrived at the Lodge Card Club. Four days of opening flights helped blow past the $250,000 guarantee, building a prize pool of $512,054.

Day 1e, the final opening flight of the schedule, produced 249 entries with 30 players being permitted to bag and advance to Day 2. This helped boost the total number of players returning to battle it out for the main event title to 121 players as they duke it out for a first-place prize of $88,007.

David Kim (1,090,000) will enter the final day of play at the top of the chip count after his successful Day 1b run where he made a call with just ace high to propel him to the top of the leaderboard and be the only player to enter the last day of play with a seven-figure stack.

Terrance Reid

Day 1c chip leader Terrance Reid (923,000) is not far behind, coming into Day 2 with the second most chips. Reid will aim to win his second main event title. He won his first RGPS title at the 2024 RunGood Million Dollar Main.

Lisa Schuessler
Lisa Schuessler

Lisa Schuessler (881,000) found herself as an unlikely chip leader on Day 1d after she reluctantly decided to play after a tough stretch at RGPS Passport Tulsa. Schuessler decided to give it another shot and was dismayed to bust in just two hands on her first attempt, but she fired again and will now enter Day 2 with an opportunity to win it all.

Poker vlogger Andrew Neeme had, to use his phrase, a favorable Day 1c, putting together a stack of 434,000. Four-time RGPS ring winner Scott Aulds also advanced to Day 2. His most recent first-place finish occurred at the 2025 RGPS Mission RunGood California, as he will look to add another ring in 2026.
