Piercey Doubles with Kings
Level 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Derek Piercey raised to 3,000 under the gun and Robert Horton defended in the big blind.
The flop came 2♣3♣6♥ and both players checked to the 7♦ turn. Horton check-called a bet of 6,000, bringing the Q♦ river.
Horton led out with a bet of 6,000 to essentially put Piercey all in, who had 6,100 behind. Piercey quickly called and tabled K♥K♣ for a pair of kings, besting the Q♣5♥ of Horton.
