Flush Good for Traber

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
James Traber
James Traber

Action went four-ways to a flop of KAJ with close to 17,000 in the middle.

It checked through to the J turn and the under-the-gun Kevin Buro led out with a bet of 3,000. Only Jim Traber in middle position called.

The A landed on the river and both players checked.

"I have a flush, but I'm sure I'm beat," said Traber as he turned over 104.

Much to his surprise, his hand was good, as Buro tabled 98 for an inferior flush.

Brown bet 3,500 and Tucker called, tabling AJ to best the A9 of Brown.

Justin Dreiling

Action went four-ways to a flop of AA5 and Justin Dreiling led out with a bet of 2,000 from the big blind. Only Alfredo Arreola called on the button.

The K landed on the turn and Dreiling slowed down with a check. Arreola bet 2,500 and Dreiling raised to 10,000. Arreola called and the river landed the 2.

Dreiling moved all in to put Arreola at risk, who had just under 33,000 behind. Arreola quickly mucked.

"I did not have an ace sir," said Dreiling as he dragged in the pot.

"Neither did I," replied Arreola.

Daniel Tavarez

Daniel Tavarez raised to 1,000 under the gun and was called by Zozimo Cardenas in the hijack.

The flop came 8JA, Tavarez bet 1,300 and Cardenas called, bringing the 10 turn.

Tavarez bet 2,000 and Cardenas called. The 2 landed on the river to complete the board.

Tavarez bet once more, this time for 5,000. Cardenas thought for a moment and flicked in the call. He mucked his cards when Tavarez tabled QJ for a pair of jacks.

Robinson Jams the Turn

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Action went four-ways to a flop of 8JK in a three-bet pot with just over 8,500 in the middle.

Jared Petree led out with a bet of 1,000 in the small blind and it folded over to Ronnie Robinson in the hijack, who bumped it up to 5,000. Only Petree called.

On the 10 turn, Petree checked and Robinson moved all in for 11,900 to put himself at risk. After a moment of thought, Petree tossed his cards into the muck.
