Brutal Runout for Al-Keliddar
Level 8
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Yaser Al-Keliddar caught up with PokerNews to recount the hand that left him with just 100 chips.
According to Al-Keliddar, Ake Ngamsa raised to 2,300 in middle position and he three-bet to 7,000 in the cutoff with AxKx. Ngamsa called and the flop came AxKx2♣.
Ngamsa checked, he bet 6,000, Ngamsa raised to 15,000, and he called. The turn landed the 4♣ and Ngamsa check-called a bet of 17,000.
On the 9♣ river, Ngamsa moved all in for 36,000, and he called, having his opponent covered by just 100. Ngamsa turned over K♣Q♣ for the backdoor flush to scoop the pot.
Al-Keliddar was eliminated shortly after but may decide to reenter.
