Andy Le limped under the gun and the player in the cutoff raised to 800. Le made the call.

The dealer put out a monotone flop of 69A and Le check-called a bet of 2,000, bringing the Q turn where both players checked.

On the 9 river, Le checked again and the cutoff bet 2,000. Le called and turned over K4 for the nut flush, while the cutoff showed AJ for two pair.

Action went four-ways to a flop of AK6 where the under-the-gun Michael Anders bet 700 and got three calls to bring the 9 turn where all four players checked.

On the 10 river, Anders bet 1,500, Gabriel Leost called in middle position, the cutoff folded, and Justin Arnwine bumped it up to 7,000 on the button.

Anders called and Leost decided to get out of the way. Arnwine tabled QJ for the nut straight, while Anders showed K10 for two pair.

RGPS Passport Maryland Main Event Continues with Day 1b

MGM National Harbor Hotel & Casino

The RunGood Poker Series Passport Season Maryland continues with Day 1b of the $1,300 Main Event taking place today at 11:15 a.m. local time. The tournament features a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool, with three Day 1 starting flights taking place over three days. Players who advance from each flight will combine and return on Sunday, April 19, for Day 2, when a winner will be crowned.

This is the second time the RGPS has partnered with MGM National Harbor Hotel & Casino to host a tournament series, and through the first starting flight, 44 entries have been tallied. Only six competitors will advance to Day 2, all of whom have already made the money. Those numbers are expected to grow substantially as the Friday and Saturday flights play out.

Carlos Chadha finished as the player on top in Day 1a with 566,000, with Jeffrey Proctor right on his heels with 538,000. Joshua Staples (459,000) and Marlon Posadas (329,000) bagged the middle stacks, while Mariya Persanova (222,000) and Chris Grove (87,000) finished at the bottom of the pack.

Players will begin each starting flight with 50,000 in chips and blinds will begin at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. Blinds will be 40 minutes in length during the Day 1 flights and will increase to 50 minutes for Day 2. The final table will have one-hour levels. Late registration is open until the start of Level 10, where players have the option to forfeit their stack and reenter for $1,300.

Should a player choose to play multiple Day 1 flights, only the highest qualifying stack will be permitted to continue to Day 2. Any lower stack(s) will be removed from play at the start of Day 2 and receive a min-cash.

Play for Day 1 flights will conclude once 12.5% of the field (rounded up) remains and those who bag will be in the money. Day 2 will then start at the earliest blind level of the three flights on Sunday, April 19, where the event will play down to a winner.
