RunGood Returns to Pennsylvania as Passport Season Rolls On

The RunGood Poker Series Passport Season has made its way to Pennsylvania, as the series returns to Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course. The first of four opening flights is set to get underway in the $800 Main Event, featuring a guaranteed prize pool of $60,000.

Action will begin on Day 1a at 12:00 p.m. local time, with the second flight to follow later in the evening. Players will have the first eight levels to take advantage of unlimited reentries, looking to earn a spot in the money for Day 2 on Sunday, April 26.

Last year’s first-ever RunGood stop in Central Pennsylvania was memorable for Chadd Beatty, who took down his second RGPS ring of the series in the RGPS Grand Prix Pennsylvania $800 Main Event.

The local cash game player defeated a field of 165 entries, taking home the largest share of the $115,500 prize pool. Beatty and Rob Gardner agreed to a deal to adjust the payouts once they reached heads-up play.

Players will take their seats with a starting stack of 30,000 chips, with blinds opening at 100/200 along with a 200 big blind ante. The first eight levels of day will run for 30 minutes, before extending to 40 minutes from Level 9 onwards.

The start of Level 9 also marks the end of late registration for all flights, and action will continue until the top 12.5 percent of the field remains to bag up for Day 2. Players may qualify for the final day more than once, but only their highest stack will carry forward.
