Gerard Cracks Raymer's Aces

Shortly after the elimination of Timothy Chase, Dan Gerard raised to 10,000 in the hijack. Greg Raymer moved all in from the cutoff, and Gerard made the call.

"I have a real hand this time," Gerard said as he turned over his pocket queens. Raymer showed down his aces, and the 9♠J♠4♥ flop left him well ahead.

Gerard picked up a flush draw on the 8♠ turn, which was promptly completed on the 2♠ river. That left Gerard claiming the pot, while Raymer was sent to the rail.
