Hughes checked the 4♣K♣6♦ flop, and Williams continued for 18,000. Hughes then announced a check-raise to 40,000, earning the pot as Williams folded.
At the other table, Dan Gerard raised to 18,000 in the cutoff before James Cloutier three-bet to 55,000 on the button. Gerard took some time before announcing all in, and Cloutier let his hand go.
