Michael Sheets moved all in for 18,400 from under the gun, and Mark Brodsky stuck in a call from the small blind.
Michael Sheets: A♥8♥
Mark Brodsky: A♠J♦
Brodsky was ahead, and improved further by making a straight on the 10♦K♠Q♠ flop. Sheets stood up as the 3♣ turn and 8♠ river hit the table, as Brodsky collected the pot shortly before break.
Josh Swails limped from under the gun before Brandon Sheets raised to 4,000 in the hijack. Randy Rineer made the call in the big blind, and Swails stuck in a call to see the 6♠3♦K♥ flop.
All three players checked, and the dealer revealed the 4♦ turn. Rineer led out with a bet of 8,000, good enough to take down the pot as Swails and Sheets let their hands go.
Greg Raymer opened to 2,800 in middle position, finding a call from Shane Stoe in the big blind.
Stoe checked the 4♣J♠3♥ flop, making another call after Raymer continued for 3,000. The 7♥ turn produced a check from Stoe, calling once more when Raymer fired 4,000.
Stoe checked one last time on the J♥ river, and Raymer tossed out 12,000. Stoe slid his cards into the muck.
Raymer playfully confirmed with the dealer that Stoe had folded, showing the table his J♣J♦ holding before collecting the pot.
Timothy Chase raised to 2,000 from under the gun, and Vernon Yoder made the call on the button. Brandon Sheets came along in the small blind, with Nathan Wasson sliding a call from the big blind.
Action checked through the 9♣K♠2♥ flop, where Sheets and Wasson checked again on the 3♣ turn. Chase bet 3,500, and Wasson was the only caller to see the 7♥ river.
Wasson checked one last time, making the call after Chase slid out a bet of 4,500. Chase tabled 7♠7♣ for a set of sevens.
"Nice hand," said Wasson as he mucked his cards.
"Nice river," replied Chase while raking in the pot.
