Nicholas Rigby Wins 9th RGPS Ring in $400 PokerNews PowerStack
The final $400 PokerNews PowerStack event of the RGPS Passport Season, has concluded, with Nicholas Rigby going wire-to-wire while a field of 96 entries to earn the title.
Rigby entered Day 2 as the overall chip leader and outlasted Nancy Birnbaum heads-up to collect his ninth RGPS ring, along with the top prize of $14,743.
The victory is Rigby's second PokerNews PowerStack win of the season and keeps the RGPS Player of the Year race very tight at the top, as he continues to battle third-place finisher Craig Welko for the crown in Pompano Beach.
