RGPS Returns to Reno for $800 Main Event

RGPS Passport Season
RGPS Passport Season

Playing under the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada, the RunGood Poker Series Passport Season is slated to return to the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada, to host the $800 Main Event. The titular event will feature a $150,000 guarantee. Players will have four opportunities to make a run at an RGPS ring beginning at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day on Feb. 27 and 28 before players convene for Day 2 on March 1 at 12 p.m.

Toan Nguyen outlasted a field of 405 entrants to take down the RGPS title during its last stop in Reno last August. A prize pool of $283,500 was created, as Nguyen took home $45,000 after a six-way chop was struck at the final table to award him the crown and the ring.

Players will begin their journey in the 2026 RGPS Passport Reno Main Event with a starting stack of 25,000. Levels are dialed for 30 minutes through the open registration period during the first eight levels of play.

The levels will then be raised to 40 minutes after registration closes at the onset of Level 9. Players are entitled to unlimited reentries, and participants can play in all four Day 1 flights. Should a player qualify for Day 2 more than once, they will take the higher chip stack into Day 2, and any lower stacks will be removed from play, and the player will receive the lowest Day 2 payout.

The top 12.5% of each flight, rounded down, will advance to Day 2, where play will resume at the lowest level of play during the Day 1 flights.
