Jason Dankowski began the hand with a raise to 800 from the hijack, but he faced a re-raise to 2,700 from Ricky Larson in the next seat over from the cutoff.

Larson folded, but the button and Badolato came along with a series of calls.
The 4♠ river led to a round of checks. Badolato showed Q♥Q♦ for a pair, but it was not enough to take down the pot as Dankowski revealed 9♦9♥ for a set of nines to win the pot.
