Lee Sends Sarte Out
Level 6
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
This hand was picked up on a board that read A♠Q♠5♦7♣ with approximately 13,500 already in the middle.
Arlen Sarte checked his option from early position before Neng Lee made a bet of 9,500 on the button. Sarte chose to check-raise all-in for 16,000 total. Lee made the call and sent them to a showdown with Sarte at risk.
Arlen Sarte: A♥4♣
Neng Lee: A♣8♣
Lee had Sarte hoping for his kicker of a chop, as Lee had the better kicker and the advantage with one card left to come.
The 10♥ river was not what Sarte was hoping for, as he was eliminated by Lee's better ace.
