Jane Bahk

Three starting flights are in the books as Day 1d marks the second half of the six starting flights scheduled by the RunGood Poker Series Passport Season Finale $600 The Hendon Mob Mid-Major Championship held at Thunder Valley Casino Resort.

Day 1c wrapped up last night, attracting a total of 119 entries. This meant that 12 players were permitted to advance to Day 2 from the third opening flight.

Yang Lu (694,000) led all players from the flight after the dust settled on Day 1c. Jane Bahk (519,000) and David Larson (474,000) round out the top three players of the 12 advancing from the third flight of play.

Lu is an experienced live tournament player who has nearly $800,000 in live career earnings according to The Hendon Mob. Lu has the opportunity to add a RunGood title to his resume with a win.

Bahk has won an RGPS ring at Thunder Valley Casino Resort, and now has the opportunity to pursue a second ring after bagging the second biggest stack from Day 1c. A championship run in this tournament would represent Bahk’s best single live cash.

David Larson
David Larson

Larson has plenty of tournament poker experience with a resume that boasts over $500,000 in earnings according to his The Hendon Mob profile, but he has yet to add RGPS hardware to his cabinet. Larson made a deep run at this very casino when he finished 14th at the $600 RGPS Contenders Thunder Valley Main Event in 2022. Larson has an opportunity to go all the way this time.

The action on Day 1d will begin at 11 a.m. local time. Players begin with a 30,000 starting stack. Players are entitled to one reentry per flight, and registration is scheduled to close at the start of Level 9. Should players qualify for Day 2 more than once, then they will take their largest stack forward and forfeit their other stack(s) and will receive the lowest Day 2 prize amount instead.
