Sadler Goes for a Ride
Level 6
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
This hand was picked up on the turn of a board that read 6♠7♦J♦ with David Vu already all-in and at risk with over 60,000 in the middle between the main pot and the side pot. The flop was a battleground between Randy Sadler and Ryan Heitzman. Sadler checked before Heitzman put out a bet of 16,000.
"Alright, let's have some fun," said Sadler as he pushed his chips in the middle for an all-in for 61,700. Heitzman made the call to put Sadler and Vu at risk.
David Vu: A♠7♠
Curtis Sadler: K♠J♣
Ryan Heitzman: A♣K♥
Sadler was in the lead after he escaped from a dominated hand situation to pull ahead of Heitzman.
The 5♥ turn and 3♥ river did not alter the standings as Sadler took in a big pot and knocked out Vu in the process.
