Cody Golden got it started with an open to 500 from early position. Brendan Turner made the call from the cutoff, but Mark Tamondo had other plans and chose to three-bet to 1,600 from the big blind. Golden and Turner both called to keep the pot three-handed.
The A♣2♦3♥ flop led to a continuation bet of 1,600 from Tamondo. Golden exited with a fold, but Turner hung in there with a call.
Both players checked the 6♦ turn to usher in the Q♣ river. Tamondo put out a bet of 4,200 on fifth street, and that was enough to get the job done as Turner folded to yield the pot.
