Set for Tanimoto
Neil Rauschhuber was all-in and at risk preflop in a pot that had swelled to over 30,000 in chips as the remaining three players took a flop on a board that read 9♣J♣5♥ when this hand was picked up.
Matthew Betti shoved from the small blind, which led to a fold from Robert Grossglauser. Arthur Tanimoto quickly called to put himself at risk for 29,900 in a showdown against Betti and Rauschhuber.
Neil Rauschhuber: 10♥10♦
Arthur Tanimoto: 8♥8♦
Matthew Betti: 9♣4♣
Tanimoto led all three horses in the race with a set of eights, but Betti was still in the thick of the race with a flush draw. Meanwhile, Rauschhuber was searching for a ten or running cards to a straight.
The 4♠ turn kept Tanimoto in control.
Tanimoto secured the pot when he upgraded to a full house on the 4♥ river to take down the pot and eliminate Rauschhuber.
