Kuciej Wins Preflop Raising War

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Konrad Kuciej got it started with an open to 8,500 from early position. Bohao Zhu made the call out of the hijack, but Matthew Patterson chose to three-bet to 30,000 from the cutoff.

Kuciej put in a four-bet all-in, which immediately folded out Zhu. Patterson went into the tank for considerable time as he would have to put himself at risk for 154,000 to make the call.

Patterson decided to fold to award the pot to Kuciej.

"Good fold," said Kuciej. "I had kings," Kuciej claimed as he took in the chips.

Eder Pretto: 102All in
Matthew Patterson: Q5
