Weisberger Knocks Out Dalco

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

Gilles Dalco checked a {5-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop from under the gun to Joel Weisberger in middle position, who bet 6,000 into a pot of around 8,000. Dalco check-raised to 12,000, then called off for 18,000 total when Weisberger jammed.

Gilles Dalco: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Joel Weisberger: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

The battle of the overpairs went to Weisberger after the {k-Spades}m turn and {6-Spades} river failed to provide Dalco with a jack.

From middle position, Matt Sundberg bet 1,700 into a pot of around 4,000 on an {a-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop, and the button raised to 6,000. Charles "Chuck" Lees check-raised all in for 11,500 from under the gun, and only the button called.

Charles "Chuck" Lees: {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Opponent: {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

Lees held the superior two pair and held on the {k-Diamonds} turn and {3-Spades} river to earn the double.

Miles Can't Mash Margagilione

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante
Francis Margagilione
Francis Margagilione

Four players invested 1,700 to see a {q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop hit the felt, and Aaron Miles led out for 3,300 from the small blind.

"Sixty-six," Francis Margagilione said in middle position, committing his last chips from middle position. Action folded back to Miles, who agonized for a few moments before committing calling chips.

Francis Margagilione: {q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Aaron Miles: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

Miles needed to hit a seven to knock out Margagilione, but was left wanting on the {j-Clubs} turn and {3-Diamonds} river.

Thunder Valley

The newly revamped RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) “All-Stars Comeback Tour Powered by PokerGO” season will be heading back out West in September for the first-ever appearance at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in the Sacramento area. PokerNews will be on-site to offer live updates from the $575 buy-in Main Event.

“We are excited about being a part of the Thunder Valley Casino Resort roster of special events. Seeing the tour grow to be successful in all parts of the country has been one confidence boost after another as we continue to get back on our feet,” said Hayley Hochstetler, VP of Media of RunGoodGear.com.

From September 22-26, the tour will travel up to Lincoln, California for an inaugural stop at the Thunder Valley Casino Resort Poker Room. The four-day event will feature three tournaments with a $575 buy-in, $200K GTD Golden Ticket Ring Event and $300 Last Chance KO event each awarding a seat to the All-Stars ProAm.

The room will be celebrating its own moniker opening day as the newly minted NorCal Card Kings will see its debut on t-shirts and hats to be handed out during the series. A $200,000 GTD prize pool headlines the Golden Ticket Ring Event making the stop not one to miss.

For those learning about the All-Stars ProAm event, it is a 64-player capped event in December streamed from inside the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Part of the field will qualify through the tour, while the remaining spots will be filled by invitees of PokerGO and RunGood that include poker professionals, industry personalities, and celebrities.

Reyes Coolers Navas

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Jose Reyes

Jose Reyes raised to 600 from under the gun, and found three callers, including Hector Navas next to act.

Reyes bet 1,000 on the {10-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop, and Navas raised to 3,000. Action folded back to Reyes, who called.

Reyes led out for 2,000 when the {7-Spades} hit the turn, and Navas tanked for a bit before raising to 10,000. Reyes three-bet shoved for 20,900 and Navas quickly called.

Jose Reyes: {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Hector Navas: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Navas couldn't spike a four-outer on the {7-Clubs} river, and the stacks were counted down.

"Oh, I still have chips!" Navas said after finding he had Reyes covered by 1,100.

Fredlund Back to Nearly Starting Stack

Five players saw a {2-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop hit the felt, and action checked to a player in middle position, who bet 1,500 into the 3,000 chip pot. RecPoker founder Steve Fredlund made the call in the hijack, and everyone else folded.

The middle-position player checked the {3-Diamonds} turn, and Fredlund bet 2,000. That did the trick as the middle-position player folded.
