Kauffman's Kings Net a Double

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Matt Morfitt raised to 125,000 from under the gun, then called a three-bet shove for 550,000 from Freeman Kauffman in the small blind.

Freeman Kauffman: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Matt Morfitt: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Morfitt picked up two outs on the {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop, along with some chop outs, but those failed to come to light on the {a-Hearts} turn and {8-Hearts} river, earning Kauffman a double.

A 500,000 chip pot was already built up with a {5-Spades}{j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} board on the felt. Kyle Hinnerichs checked in the big blind, and Jon Stanfield bet 150,000 from under the gun. Tim Garles called on the button, as did Hinnerichs.

Action checked to Garles on the {10-Spades} river, and he bet 400,000. Hinnerichs verbalized a call immediately, and Stanfield folded.

"One pair," Garles said without showing. Hinnerichs showed {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and Garles said, "That beats me," and mucked.

Garles was left with 450,000, and lost those chips shortly after with a flush draw against the two pair of Steve Vang.

Grace Takes From Garles

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Brantley Grace raised to 140,000 from the cutoff, and Tim Garles called on the button.

Grace check-called a bet of 100,000 from Garles on the {5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop, and both players checked the {2-Spades} turn.

Grace checked the {8-Spades} river, then quickly called when Garles bet 300,000. Garles signaled he had nothing, and Grace tabled {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a rivered straight to take down the pot.

Vang Holds on For Big Double Against Garles

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Steve Vang, who started the hand in the small blind, had a bet of 200,000 in front of him with a {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Spades} board on the felt, and Tim Garles jammed from under the gun.

Vang tanked for a minute before sticking in a call for his last 950,000.

Steve Vang: {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Tim Garles: {k-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

Garles couldn't hit his combo draw on the {q-Clubs} river, and Vang doubled up.
