Hood Coolers One Out the Door

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A player was all in from the hijack for his last 48,000, and Benjamin Hood was waiting with the mother of all hands in the big blind.

Opponent: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Benjamin Hood: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

The hijack could only solemnly nod as the {7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{a-Hearts} flop ended things two cards early, rendering the {2-Clubs} turn and {q-Spades} river moot.

Hood Finds the Perfect River to Double Through Skreens Into the Chip Lead

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Bryan Skreens
Bryan Skreens

One player was already all in and a substantial pot was brewing on the side between Bryan Skreens in early position and Benjamin Hood in the cutoff.

Skreens checked a {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Diamonds} board over to Hood, who bet 14,000. Skreens check-raised to 40,000, and Hood called.

Skreens checked the {j-Hearts} river, and Hood quickly pushed his remaining 57,200 in the middle.

"That's the one card I didn't want to see!" Skreens exclaimed, standing up in response. He eventually made the call for most of his stack with {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}, but his premonition turned out to be spot on, as Hood rolled over {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a full house, and after the original all in player mucked his {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}, Hood earned a knockout and leapt to one of the biggest stacks in the room.

Baggett Jams on Blindert

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Six players saw a {4-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop together, and action checked through to the {2-Clubs} turn. Action checked to Kenny Baggett in the hijack, and he bet 6,000. Luke Blindert raised to 14,000 on the button, chasing everyone out back to Baggett.

Baggett didn't take long to come to a decision; an all in three-bet for 49,900. Blindert folded after a few moments of thought.

"Lemme see your hand," Blindert asked Baggett. Baggett simply mucked his hand face-down.

Sipe Escapes With a Triple

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Tim Sipe jammed for 20,700 from early position, and a player in middle position called. The small blind three-bet shoved for 38,900 and the middle-position player called.

Tim Sipe: {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Small Blind: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Middle Position: {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}

"Keep 'em low, dealer!" the middle-position player told the dealer.

The {q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} runout wasn't quite low enough, however, as Sipe, who had turned a straight and flush draw, rivered a pair of tens to take the main pot and triple up, while the middle-position player broke roughly even by eliminating the small blind.

Zuron Turns the Nuts

Level 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

A player on the button raised to 7,000, and was called by Josh Zuron in the small blind, as well as the player in the big blind.

Action checked to the button on the {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop, and he bet 10,500. Zuron called and the big blind folded.

The {q-Diamonds} fell on the turn, and Zuron checked, but the motion wasn't detected by the dealer or the button, resulting in an unintentional two-minute tank. When the dealer acknowledged the time that had passed, Zuron checked again, apologizing that it took so long. The button jammed for 24,000 and Zuron snap-called.

Josh Zuron: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Opponent: {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

"I wasn't trying to slow-roll," Zuron told his opponent, who accepted Zuron's statement. The {3-Hearts} river failed to fill the button up, and Zuron earned the knockout.
