Sciscoe On a Massive Heater

"Quad three's twice! Two straight flushes! Five boats!" an animated Doc Hanson told the PokerNews media desk with a grin, referring to his former tablemate Timothy Sciscoe. "This guy has hit everything! He just knocked me out, I made the nut flush, he goes runner-runner quad threes!" Hanson, who indicated he's "going to Hooters" for now and is firing Day 1c later instead of rebuying, was still all smiles in telling the good fortune of Sciscoe.

A quick look over the table saw Sciscoe continuing the blazing hot streak, with his making a full house against the of his opponent on a board to eliminate them. Sciscoe, like Tim Rystrom in the Day 1a flight, has soared to a monstrous chip lead in the middle stages.

Daniel Lowery raised to 2,300 from middle position, and was called by Hilton McLamb in the hijack, as well as the player in the small blind.

The small blind checked the flop, and Lowery jammed for 4,500. McLamb was the only interested party, and it was easy to see why once the cards were tabled.

Heat Check: Sciscoe Still Scorching

"River!" came the shout from Table 4, and a quick examination of the board showed exactly why the player at risk shouted his frustrations aloud.

With the board on the felt, the big blind held and was at risk for his last 10,000. Unfortunately for him, he was up against the buzzsaw that is Timothy Sciscoe, and the held by Sciscoe for the nut flush sent the big blind out the door.
