Benjamin Bets Bradford Out Of The Pot

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante
Dave Benjamin
Dave Benjamin

Action folded around to Matthew Bradford in the hijack position. Bradford opened to 400 and Dave Benjamin on his direct left quickly called. The button, small and big blinds all folded and the two players were heads up.

Flop: {5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

With a low flop, Bradford continued for 600 and Benjamin didn't hesitate to call.

Turn: {q-Diamonds}

Bradford again led out with a bet of 1,200 but Benjamin had a different reaction this time. Benjamin raised to 3,500 and Bradford made the call.

River: {2-Hearts}

For the first time in this hand, Bradford started the action with a check. Benjamin continued the growing betting pattern and put out a bet of 7,000. Bradford hesitated briefly but finally tossed his cards in and the pot was quickly pushed to Benjamin.

Lujano Tank Calls With Middle Pair

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

We found Table 3 of the $575 Main Event in a heads-up hand displaying a flop of {3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

Daniel Lujano (in the big-blind) was first to act and checked his action to the cutoff, Richard Davis. Davis put out a bet of 400 and Lujano quickly called.

Turn: {j-Hearts}

Lujano again checked from his early position over to Davis. Davis bet 1,200 without the slightest hesitation. A brief pause took place before Lujano made the call.

River: {k-Diamonds}

With the final card now face up on the felt, Lujano quickly checked. Davis continued his story of having it and put a bet of 3,300 in front of him. Lujano was not quick to react in response. Nearly 30 seconds passed as Lujano replayed the hand in his head before finally tossing out a single chip to symbolize his call.

Davis: {2-Spades}{9-Spades}

Lujano: {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}

It took a moment for the table to realize that Davis put out the final bet without even a single pair and the pot was pushed to Lujano with his middle pair of 10's.
