Hawk Scoops A Miracle Double From Zeller

Michael Hawk
Michael Hawk

When we made it to the table, action was just completing. Michael Hawk was all in from the cutoff position for about 7,000 and Joseph Zeller had reraised all-in for 25,000 from the big blind. After the middle position limpers released their holdings, we were heads up and ready to turn cards over and see the run out.

Michael Hawk: {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

Joseph Zeller: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

There was no fear from Zeller with the {4-Hearts} in the window but once the full flop was displayed, the mood shifted.

Flop: {4-Hearts}{a-Spades}{3-Clubs}

With Hawk finding one of the two remaining threes, all he needed to do now was hold.

With the {5-Diamonds} turn and the {j-Clubs} river card, Hawk had locked up the pot.

Zeller Takes It Down On The Turn

RGPS Main Event
RGPS Main Event

Joseph Zeller opened the action with a mid position raise to 800. Action folded around to Matt Ratkauski in the big blind who tossed in calling chips. Heads Up action and the dealer showed the flop.

Flop: {4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades}

Both Zeller and Ratkauski must not have been too pleased as they responded with checks.

Turn: {a-Spades}

After a check from Rutkauski, Zeller pushed forward a bet of 700. Rutkauski considered a call with chips in his hand but after a moment of thought, he pushed his cards to the dealer.
