Welcome to Flight A of the RunGood Poker Series Council Bluffs $100K GTD Main Event
The RunGood Poker Series returns to the Horseshoe Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa for its ”Game Seven” Main Event, featuring a $575 buy-in and a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. It is the fourth stop in the “Game Seven” series, which awards a championship ring made by Signature Rings to the winner in addition to first-place prize earnings.
On RunGood's last visit to Council Bluffs in Februrary, Nick Burris (pictured) took down the Main Event's top prize of $44,767 and a seat in the Showbound freeroll for a seat on PokerGO's Poker After Dark.
Flight A begins at 7 p.m. local time, and is the first of three starting flights. Players will receive 20,000 in starting chips with blinds beginning at 100/100. Levels will last 30 minutes each with 15-minute breaks after the completion of every four levels. Players may enter or re-enter until the beginning of Level 9 (600/1,200/1,200), with play concluding for the day at the end of Level 12 (1,500/2,500/2,500).
Anyone not fortunate enough to advance from tonight’s flight are able to try their hand again on Saturday, as starting flights B and C are scheduled for noon and 7 p.m. local time, respectively.
