Alex "dynoalot" Difelice Eliminated in 3rd Place ($722,075)

Level 45 : 600,000/1,200,000, 150,000 ante

Down to just over 11 big blinds, Alex "dynoalot" Difelice moved all-in from the small blind and "Alexgirs" called in the big blind.

Alex "dynoalot" Difelice: {a-Spades}{2-Spades}
"Alexgirs": {a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

"Alexgirs" paired his kicker on the {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} flop while Difelice had the nutflushdraw. A blank {k-Diamonds} on the turn was followed by the {9-Diamonds} river and that sent the Canadian out in third place.

As part of the three-handed deal, Difelice receives $722,074.96 for his efforts.

Brito Takes the Lead

Level 45 : 600,000/1,200,000, 150,000 ante

Pablo "pabritz" Brito took chips off Alex "dynoalot" Difelice in two showdown hands to jump into the lead while the Canadian dropped to a short stack.

First up, Difelice min-raised and Brito called. They checked to the {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Spades}{9-Spades} river on which Brito bet 4,387,500 into 5.85 million and was called. Brito rolled over {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for trips nines and won the pot.

A similar hand played out when Brito this time check-called 1.8 million on the {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop exactly one orbit later and they checked the {3-Hearts} turn and {6-Clubs} river. Brito tabled {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and that was the winning hand. The Brazilian also three-bet a raise by "Alexgirs" to earn the pot right after.

"Alexgirs Back Into the Lead

Level 45 : 600,000/1,200,000, 150,000 ante

Pablo "pabritz" Brito closed the gap to Alex "dynoalot" Difelice while "Alexgirs" remained at his previous stack. That all changed when the Belorussian three-bet jammed for more than 29 million out of the small blind and was called by Difelice on the button.

"Alexgirs": {a-Spades}{5-Spades}
Alex "dynoalot" Difelice: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Difelice outflopped his opponent on {q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts} but the {a-Clubs} turn restored the preflop order, a blank {10-Diamonds} river vaulted "Alexgirs" back into the lead.

Next Break; Three Remain

Level 44 : 500,000/1,000,000, 125,000 ante

Pablo "pabritz" Brito and Alex "dynoalot" Difelice chopped a large pot when both had flopped top pair on a {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} board and shortly after the final three headed into the next scheduled 5-minute break.

Brito Wins Big Pot Against Difelice; Loses All The Profit After

Level 44 : 500,000/1,000,000, 125,000 ante

Pablo "pabritz" Brito raised it up to 3.375 million in the small blind and Alex "dynoalot" Difelice called from the big blind. Brito bet the {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop for 2 million and Difelice came along to see the {q-Spades} on the turn. Brito now checked and called a bet of 6.71 million to see the {7-Clubs} river. Both checked and Brito earned the pot with {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for two pair.

The Brazilian forfeited a decent portion of that profit two hands later when Difelice fired three barrels from the button on a {k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} board. Brito had defended the big blind and check-called twice but folded to a third barrel worth 11.5 million into a pot of 16.875 million.

"Alexgirs" then took a few big blinds off Brito when he hit second pair with {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} on a {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs} board. The Belorussian four-bet the button against a 6.5 million three-bet by Brito and raked in another pot.

Difelice Retains Lead

Level 44 : 500,000/1,000,000, 125,000 ante

"Alexgirs" pulled back to more than 30 big blinds after raking in a pot without showdown on the {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} board and subsequently lost all medium-sized pots to Alex "dynoalot" Difelice. The latest one came from a button limp on which Pablo "pabritz" Brito filled up the small blind. Difelice raised to 4 million and "Alexgirs" called but then folded the {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop.

"Alexgirs" Left With Crumbs; Doubles Twice

Level 44 : 500,000/1,000,000, 125,000 ante

"Alexgirs" limped the small blind and Pablo "pabritz" Brito checked to the {6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop on which both players invested one big blind. "Alexgirs" then check-raised the {k-Hearts} turn to 4.5 million and Brito called to see the {7-Spades} on the river. "Alexgirs" bet 8 million with fewer than 5.4 million behind and folded to a shove.

However, the Belorussian then doubled twice in quick succession to get back into contention.

First he was at risk with {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} against the {k-Diamonds}{4-Spades} of Alex "dynoalot" Difelice and the {8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}{j-Clubs} board provided a ten on the turn.

A couple hands later "Alexgirs" was at risk with {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and this time Difelice held the superior {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}.

The {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} runout provided four diamonds and another double.
