Day 2 Action

Late registration ended just before the start of Day 2, and with the late arrivals the total number of entries for the PLO Main Event hit 159. The day started with 59 players in the hunt.

Those 59 players battled for 19 money positions. It took four-and-a-half hours to reach the pay ladder, and the bubble burst when Alex "dynoalot" Difelice was knocked out in 20th by Gavin "gavz101" Cochrane.

It took less than an hour after that to reach the final two tables. Making the cash along the way were Ola "Odd_Oddsen" Amunsgard (16th - $28,878), Joao "IneedMassari" Simao (15th - $28,878) and Andras "probirs" Nemeth (13th - $35,609).

Most of the field looked up at Day 1 chip leader Loeliger for most of the day, but Vieira temporarily secured the chip lead in the late levels of the day after eliminating "jedimaster82" (11th- $43,909).

Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas went out next (10th- $43,909). Vieira relinquished the chip lead to “Jeans89” a few minutes later, with “Jeans89” doubling through Vieria and becoming the first player to reach the nine million mark in the tournament.

"hotmark777" (9th - $54,143) went out next, bringing the tournament to the final table bubble. The bubble burst with the elimination of Ben "Ben86" Tollerene (8th - $51,143), setting up Tuesday’s final table.
