Day 1 of SCOOP-79-H: $10,300 NLHE High Roller Gets Underway at 1 PM EST

The PokerStars 2020 Spring Championship of Online Poker -79-H: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max, High Roller] kicks off at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST).

This two-day tournament with an eight-max format boasts a $1 million guarantee in the prize pool. All participants start with 250,000 in chips. Levels 1 to 18 are scheduled to be of 20 minutes and levels 19+ of 30 minutes. Late registration remains open during the first 5 hours and 5 minutes of play, during which each player will be allowed to fire up to two re-entries if needed.

Players can use 60 seconds of time bank when normal time to act has expired and an additional 10 seconds will be added every few levels.

Day 1 will break once the money is reached and action will resume on Wednesday May 20th at 1:00 p.m. EST to play down to a winner.

Preben "prebz" Stokkan, Mirza "zazano" Muhovic, Steve "Mr. Tim Caum" O'Dwyer, Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder, Mustapha "lasagnaaammm" Kanit and Artur "mararthur1" Martirosyan are among those to have already captured a SCOOP title in a High Roller event during this championship.
