Schwartz Runs Out of Chips

Level 8 : 1,750/3,500, 450 ante

Luke "lb6121" Schwartz had taken a major hit to his stack already when he open-shoved the last 24,000 and change from early position and Brazil's "copag holdem" reshoved out of the small blind to isolate.

Luke "lb6121" Schwartz: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
"copag holdem": {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Ace-ten high remained in the lead throughout the {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} board and even rivered a ten-high straight to eliminate Schwartz for now.

Bosca Chips Up a Lot

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 375 ante

Vicent "gordon0410" Bosca sent 2020 SCOOP Main Event runner-up Pablo "pabritz" Brito to the rail when his {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flopped the nut straight on a board of {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{a-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Brito defended the big blind against a raise to 7,500 and check-called three barrels with {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} to bust on the first bullet.

Brito re-entered, and Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis then also appeared on the table on his second bullet of the tournament.

Bosca lost a bigger pot to Ramon "RamonColillas" Colillas when the fellow Spaniard made a full house with {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} on a board of {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} but earned the chips all back in two consecutive showdown hands versus Lucas "YRWTHMELTHR" Greenwood.

Shakerchi Doubles Through Drinan

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 375 ante

On a table filled with High Roller regulars, Paul "Fold Machiii" Dando raised to 7,020 and Connor "blanconegro" Drinan three-bet to 24,252. "wisopekeno!" four-bet to 55,500 in the utoff and Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi five-bet jammed the big blind for more than 150,000. It folded to Drinan who isolated and forced out "wisopekeno!".

Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Connor "blanconegro" Drinan: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

On a board of {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, Drinan picked up some further outs with the gutshot but came up short to drop back below the starting stack.

The Kings Misery Continues

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 375 ante

Alexandru "steakaddict." Papazian raised it up to 6,660 from under the gun and Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis three-bet to 27,000 out of the small blind, which Papazian called. They headed to the {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop on which Veldhuis continued for 33,000 and then called the shove of Papazian to be the player at risk in the following showdown.

Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Alexandru "steakaddict." Papazian: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

The board completed with the {j-Spades} turn and {7-Diamonds} river to send Veldhuis to the rail on the first bullet.

Pantling Rises Again

Level 6 : 1,250/2,500, 325 ante

Andrew "ClockWyze" Pantling had dropped into the middle of the pack but won a series of decent pots to jump back into the lead with Charlie "Epiphany77" Carrel close behind.

The biggest one came for a double when his {3-Hearts}{3-Spades} made quads on the {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{10-Spades} board as Kayhan "KayhanMok" Roshanfekr saw his {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} cracked.

Pantling then lost some chips to Juan "Malaka$tykle" Pardo but his {10-Spades}{7-Spades} rivered a straight to beat the {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} of Wiktor "limitless" Malinowski to drag in another pot.
