Pantling No More

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

Andrew "ClockWyze" Pantling lost a big chunk of his stack when he paid off the valuebet of Alfred "Kzzon" Karlsson on the {9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Spades} river and was shown {k-Spades}{9-Clubs} for the second nuts.

Down to 1.9 million, Pantling three-bet jammed in the small blind and was called by Pavel "silentm0de" Plesuv from under the gun.

Andrew "ClockWyze" Pantling: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Pavel "silentm0de" Plesuv: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

The {10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} board ended Pantling's run in 22nd place.

"EEE27" Busts to Adams

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

Will "hellzito" Arruda opened the action from early position with a min-raise to 240,000 and was called by Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams from one seat over and short stack "EEE27" in the big blind, who started the hand with 11 blinds.

On the {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop, "EEE27" check-jammed for 1.1 million into a bet of 350,000 by Arruda and a flat-call by Adams. Arruda opted to fold and Adams called.

"EEE27": {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}

The {q-Clubs} turn and {6-Clubs} river completed the board and Adams improved to a nine-high straight.

Pantling Left Short and Doubles; "aaldert-92" Eliminated

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

In the old level still, Alfred "Kzzon" Karlsson raised to 200,000 on the button and called a three-bet to 612,424 by Andrew "ClockWyze" Pantling in the big blind. Pantling bet the {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, checked the {4-Clubs} turn and bet once more for 1,284,844 on the {2-Clubs} river.

Karlsson called both bets with {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and was good versus {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

Down to crumbs, Pantling got it in with {a-Diamonds}{2-Spades} when he was on the button and Pavel "silentm0de" Plesuv called in the big blind holding the {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. The {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}{k-Clubs}{9-Hearts} board kept Pantling in contention.

One hand later, Dutchman "aaldert-92" was at risk out of the big blind against button raiser Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson.

"aaldert-92": {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The kicker played a curcial role to send "aaldert-92" to the rail in 24th place as the board came {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}.

"uwintakeit": {k-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Pavel "silentm0de" Plesuv: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The board cam {j-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and "uwintakeit" missed both live cards and a flushdraw to exit in 25th place.
