The third day of action in the Spring Championship of Online Poker Main Event L has come to a close. What started as a field of 22,663 total entries has been whittled down to just nine. By the end of play tomorrow, a champion will be crowned.

Day 4 for is scheduled for tomorrow, May 31st. Cards will hit the felt at 12:30 pm ET. Play will begin 9 handed as the final table gets underway. Play will continue until just one player is left standing to claim the $232,581.89 prize for first place. All nine players have locked up at least $15,503.75.

When Day 3 began, a 157 players were still in contention. There were plenty of big pots and strong hands throughout the day as the players fell. Several different players held the chip lead at different points of the day. "PokerHorst" pulled ahead early after his queens held against nines. A bit later in the day, Daniel "dani aziz" Aziz took a commanding lead in a massive, three way all-in pot, in which his aces held against both queens and big slick.

Both "PokerHorst" and Aziz continued strong play throughout the day, making the final table, with the former finishing the day as chip leader. Day 2 chip leader "Sodaski" also made the final table. Seven different countries are represented at the final table, with Brazil and Ukraine each having two representatives.
