A brisk eight-and-a-half-hour day on the virtual felt saw 110 entries fire at SCOOP-93-H: $10,300 PLO [6-Max, PLO Main Event], 15 entries short of the $1.25 million dollar guaranteed prize pool, with registration still open until the start of Day 2. Espen "locomi" Myrmo ended Day 1 as the chip leader, bagging up 3,578,252 in chips.

Myrmo and the other two players with over three-million in chips, Andreas "Skjervoy" Torbergsen and Ami "UhhMee" Barer spent much of the day battling over the top spots, including a big spot near the end of the night where Torbergsen made a straight against the set of aces of "BringMeTheSD" to push back to within a few hundred thousand of the chip lead. Rounding out the top five are "terror777727" and Joao "vovo_leo" Studart.

Plenty of notables hit the felt but found themselves using both of their re-entries and running out of chips before the day came to a close, including Aku "Aku1206" Joentausta, Connor "blanconegro" Drinan, Noah "Exclusive" Boeken, Linus "LLinusLLove" Loeliger, and Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi, among others, and they will be unable to re-enter to the action tomorrow.

On the other hand, players who only busted a single time such as Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker and PokerStars Ambassador Parker "tonkaaaa" Talbot still have a re-entry available if they choose before play begins tomorrow.

Day 2 Agenda

Play resumes at 1:10 EST on Monday, April 25th, and late registration remains open until then. The tournament is currently 15 players short of meeting the guarantee, so a potential overlay is possible depending on how many players jump into the fray at the last moment.

Levels will remain at 30 minutes in length for tomorrow's action, and play will conclude for the day when the final table of seven is reached. Official payout information will be released once registration comes to a close.

PokerNews will return tomorrow to capture all the action as we come one step closer to crowning a new SCOOP champion!
