Espen "locomi" Myrmo ended Day 1 as the chip leader, bagging up 3,578,252 in chips.
Myrmo and the other two players with over three-million in chips, Andreas "Skjervoy" Torbergsen and Ami "UhhMee" Barer spent much of the day battling over the top spots, including a big spot near the end of the night where Torbergsen made a straight against the set of aces of "BringMeTheSD" to push back to within a few hundred thousand of the chip lead. Day 2 Agenda
Play resumes at 1:10 EST on Monday, April 25th, and late registration remains open until then. The tournament is currently 15 players short of meeting the guarantee, so a potential overlay is possible depending on how many players jump into the fray at the last moment.
Levels will remain at 30 minutes in length for tomorrow's action, and play will conclude for the day when the final table of seven is reached. Official payout information will be released once registration comes to a close.
