Seneca Fall Poker Classic

Welcome to our coverage of the 2013 Seneca Fall Poker Classic at the Seneca Niagara Casino and Hotel. For about a week now, players have been flocking to the hotel balcony on the venue's second floor for exciting poker action. Today marks the climax of this series as the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event will kick off for its first day of play.

The Main Event is a three-day event with unlimited re-entries. Players will be allowed to enter at any point during Day 1 as well as before the start of play on Day 2. The first day of play will be comprised of 11 60-minute levels with a 60-minute dinner break occurring after Level 6.

While this is the largest buy in event held at the Seneca Fall Poker Classic, PokerNews was also on hand to cover the $500 No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry event just two days ago. Be sure to take a look back at our coverage as we chronicled how Rick Block rose above the 86-player field to claim $9,127 in first-place prize money.

Play kicks off at 11 a.m. and we will be here providing all of the latest from the tournament floor. Be sure to stay tuned as this exciting event begins!
