Demmerley Shoves Out of Turn

Art Demmerley raised to 3,6000 and three players called to see a flop. In the big blind, Randy Lingenfelter cut out chips from his stack and motioned to bet, but before he could release them Demmerley grabbed his full stack of chips and pounded them into the pot.

A floorperson was called over to determine what Lingenfelter's options were, and he was told he could fold, check or bet; a fold would give the pot to Demmerley (the other two players had already mucked), a check would keep the action the same and a bet would change the action as Demmerley's bet would be pulled back.

Lingenfelter opted to fold and probably saved himself a few thousand chips thanks to Demmerley's error.
