Level 9 : 400/800, 75 ante

William Ho is the new chip leader after taking down a massive pot against Sam DeSabio.

The player in Seat 1 opened to 1,700 from early position and Ryan Rivers (cutoff), DeSabio (button and Ho (big blind) called.

The dealer fanned the {6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop and action checked to DeSabio, who bet 3,400. Ho called, and the player in Seat 1 check-raised to 10,000. Rivers mucked and DeSabio responded with a three-bet to 33,400. Ho quickly announced all in and the other player got out of the way. DeSabio pondered his options for a minute before committing his stack.

Ho: {7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
DeSabio: {8-Spades}{6-Spades}

Ho turned the big blind special into gold with his flopped straight and he managed to hod up through the {2-Spades} turn and {A-Diamonds} river. DeSabio was eliminated.

Dan Wagner from Event #3
Dan Wagner from Event #3

We caught up with Dan Wagner, Ray Book and another player staring at a {3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop. Wagner checked, Book bet 4,200 and the player on the button called. Wagner then check-raised to 11,400, sending Book into the tank for more than a minute before he tossed his cards. The other player moved all in for about 7,500 more and Wagner snapped him off.

Wagner: {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Button: {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}

The {J-Spades} turn and {Q-Diamonds} river secured the double for Wagner, who has now joined the 100K club.

Emptying The Chamber

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Defending champ Andy Spears won't go down without a fight. Spears took advantage of the late entry option of this event by firing five bullets across the two starting days. He managed to get his last entry in right before the start of Level 10.

Last year Spears went wire-to-wire to win this tournament. He'll need to travel a very different path this time.
