MacKinnon Crippled
D.J. MacKinnon bagged 39,900 in this morning's flight but he's trying for more tonight. MacKinnon recently decided to ditch his cash game and attempt to build a big stack to take into Day 2.
So far, not so good.
We watched MacKinnon open to 1,800 from middle position and the big blind defend to see a ![]()

flop. The big blind checked, MacKinnon bet 2,000 and received a call. On the
turn action was checked to MacKinnon again and he bet 6.100. His opponent moved in for a little more than twice that amount and MacKinnon tossed in a call.

MacKinnon had eight outs to a straight but didn't connect on the river and was left with 4,100. He shoved the next hand but didn't receive any callers.
Meanwhile at the same table, Josh Knight built his stack from 5,000 to 93,000 and is among the leaders. Mark Roberts and Budwey Salhab are now absent from that table so we can only assume that it was Knight who played executioner.
