Chop It Up

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante

Travell Thomas has been all in and at risk twice in the level. Both times came against Buck Ramsay, and both times they had the same hand and chopped. First, Thomas three-bet shoved with {K-Clubs}{J-Spades} and Ramsay called with {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}. Then Thomas three-bet jammed again with {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and Ramsay called with {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}.

"How do I not have the nuts with ace-king," asked a frustrated Thomas. He's still hanging on though with around eight big blinds.

Wagner Doubles Through Saffron

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante

Dan Wagner opened to 115,000 from the cutoff and Todd Saffron shoved from the button. Ramsey and Thomas released their blinds, Wagner called instantly and the cards were revealed.

Wagner: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Saffron: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Wagner was in prime shape for a double and he got it when the board came out {4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}.

Brian Healy Eliminated in 9th Place ($4,700)

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante
Brian Healy
Brian Healy

Three players went to a flop of {10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{J-Clubs} and Brian Healy and Buck Ramsey checked to Travell Thomas, who bet 103,000. Healy then check-shoved for around 600,000, and Ramsey re-shoved for more than 1 million. Thomas pushed his cards toward the muck and the other hands were tabled.

Ramsay: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Healy: {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

Ramsey had Healy crushed and the {A-Clubs} turn and {J-Diamonds} river improved him to a full house. Thomas turned to Blake Napierala on the rail, laughed, and said he folded ace-jack. "I would've sucked out!"

Ramsey has take the chip lead with 1,710,000.

John Grace Eliminated in 10th Place ($3,721)

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante

Todd Saffron opened to 70,000 from early position and John Grace shoved for 260,000 a few spots over. Action folded back to Saffron. He sighed and said, "I don't like it but I call."

Grace: {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Saffron: {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Saffron loved what he saw and he scored the knockout on the {3-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} board. Grace was eliminated and Saffron is the new chip leader.
