Jonathan Dimmig is blowing through buy-ins but having fun here in the Main Event. He told us earlier that he planned on firing five or six bullets today. He's currently on number four.
"Just get it in every hand," he said to us as he was standing at the cage.

Very few players have crossed the 100,000-chip mark yet. Joe Ciffa, though, just surpassed 200,000 by eliminating Scott Aitchison.

Ciffa checked and Aitchison bet 5,000. Ciffa called and the
hit the turn. Ciffa check-called again, this time a bet of 11,000, and the
completed the board on the river. Ciffa checked for a third time and Aitchison bet 20,000, leaving about 16,000 behind. Ciffa moved all in and a startled Aitchison shrugged his shoulders and announced a call.

Ciffa went runner-runner for a flush to crack Aitchison's set of aces, sending the pro out of the tournament. Ciffa's 220,000 would place him sixth if he had bagged that amount on Day 1a, and we still have more than six levels to go tonight.

Joe Ciffa already has two titles to his credit during the 2014 Summer Slam series. He's on his way toward making a run at his third here in the Main Event.
Ciffa is sitting behind a tower of more than 170,000 chips at Table 5. He told us earlier in the day that he eliminated Jonathan Dimmig and asked us if there was a bounty prize for busting the WSOP bracelet winner.
"T-shirt? Anything? I'm a 4XL," Ciffa said with a grin.
