Color-Up Break

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

The remaining 78 players are on a quick 15-minute break, with play resuming at 10:25PM.

At the end of this break, registration will close and payouts will be calculated.

Double Knockout for Alan Findlay

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

Alan Findlay found himself in a dream scenario with pocket aces. Two players jammed their stacks in the middle and he had them both covered.

Findlay: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Player 1: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Player 2: {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, which was fairly benign for Findlay.

The turn was the {a-Hearts}, giving Findlay top set, but his opponent with pocket kings picked up a flush draw.

The river was the {7-Spades} and Findlay scooped the pot, sending two players to the rail.

Findlay now holds the chip lead heading into the next break.

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Peter Raimondi was seen leaving the tournament area after firing several bullets in multiple flights.

He explained how he defended his big blind with {5-Spades}{3-Spades} and flopped a flush. There was a three-bet on the flop, and all the money got in on the turn, which was a brick.

Raimondi's opponent tabled {9-Spades}{8-Spades} for a bigger flush and he was drawing dead to the river, sending him home early.

On Pace to Spin it Up

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Bruce Pace has fired multiple bullets in each flight so far and finally had a chance to build a stack up again here in this last flight.

The board read {8-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Pace called an all in for 15,000, having his opponent covered by a lot.

Pace tabled {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for top two pair and his opponent showed {4-}{4-} for a set of fours.

The river was the {8-Diamonds} and Pace made a bigger full house, sending his opponent to the rail.
