Daniel Wagner: Leading With Ladies

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Daniel Wagner's stack has been up and down but has been going in the right direction throughout the last couple of levels.

There was about 25,000 in the pot, on a board reading {k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. Wagner led out for 10,500, and his opponent in the cutoff decided to call.

The turn was the {4-Spades}. Wagner checked, and the cutoff bet 15,000. Wagner called.

The river was the {k-Hearts}. Both players checked and Wagner tabled {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. The cutoff nodded, indicating he was good, and mucked his cards.

Last Break of the Flight

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Carol Leonardi Fades the Draw

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

With about 15,000 in the pot already, on a board reading {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}, Carol Leonardi was in position and her opponent jammed his remaining 47,000 into the middle.

Leonardi wasted no time and called, tabling {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}. Her opponent revealed a flush draw with {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}.

The turn was the {6-Diamonds}, and the river was the {4-Spades}. Leonardi took down the pot and sent her opponent to the rail.

"Oh wow. I thought maybe you had ace-jack", as she raked in her chips.

Rob Forbes Claws Back

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Rob Forbes seemed to have lost a significant amount of chips between levels but has gained some traction again.

Daniel Wagner raised to 3,400 from early position, and the hijack called. Rob Forbes called from the cutoff, as did the small blind and Art Demmerley in the big blind.

The flop came {Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Both blinds checked, as did Wagner. The hijack led out for 12,000 and Forbes quickly put in a raise to 30,000. Action folded back around to the hijack and he also opted to fold, sending the pot Forbes' way.
