Leo Kaplin

Leo Kaplin and Buck Ramsay were in a $60,000-chip pot on an {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} board with Kaplin all in for about the size of the pot and promising to show either way.

Ramsay eventually let it go and Kaplin showed all three aces, but not quads.

The Bigger They Are

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

There were a few last minute sign-ups at the break bringing the grand total of entries and reentries to 80, beating the 77 they drew last time around at Seneca.

Bruce Pace jumped back in and is already out, running a Jack high flush into the nuts.

There are now just 24 players left on three eight-handed tables with full prize pool information expected to be released minutes from now.

Here Comes Karma

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

John Stempien bet 2,500 into two opponents on an {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop and got just one caller in David Grana.

Grana checked the {10-Spades} turn and Stempien bet 6,000. Grana folded allowing Stempien to climb the counts and begin to build a threatening stack.

In the meantime, Blake Napierala lost most of his stack running top pair and a draw into a set and failing to improve. He held on to peanuts for a while, but they've been crushed now.
