Devins Finds Kings

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante
Matt Devins
Matt Devins

John Stempien moved all in over a Blake Napierala 75,000-chip open. Matt Devins then called all in from the button for close to a half million chips.

Napierala folded and it was Stempien's {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} versus Devins' {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}. Devins flushed Stempien's hopes down the drain on a {5-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Spades} board to reach a million-chip peak and leave Stempien short.

Blake Napierala Eliminated in 9th Place ($1,940)

After taking the chip lead at the final table, it all went South for Blake Napierala, and he's now out.

He finally shoved 500,000 over a Rodolfo Navas raise and Navas had two aces. Napierala's two sevens were no match, and as he hit the rail ninth, Navas took a huge lead into eight-handed play.

Navas Rolls Along

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Rodolfo Navas
Rodolfo Navas

Rodolfo Navas bet 150,000 on the flop, 150,000 on the turn and 300,000 on the river of a {5-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{2-Clubs} board, after defending his big blind against an Abe Reinhardt under-the-gun open.

Reinhardt called all the way down to the river, then folded, showing two queens. Navas did not show, and is simply running over the table with his massive stack right now.

John Huening Eliminated in 6th Place ($3,372)

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
John Huening
John Huening

John Huening ran it up from 20,000 to start the day, but this short-stacked ninja will progress no further.

He opened shoved the {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for 700,000 and Thomas Mader called with the {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} having him covered. The {j-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} was a bad one for Huening, giving Mader a set.

The {2-Clubs} turn was no good and the {9-Hearts} river ended Huening's rags to riches story in sixth.
