Foster on Fire

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Adam Foster
Adam Foster

Adam Foster has been winning all the pots at his table of late, including the one where he busted Jeffery Hobrecker with jacks over tens all in preflop a minute ago.

As a result, Foster just became the first player over 100,000 and has vaulted into the chip lead.

The White Knight Strikes Again

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Jeff White
Jeff White

Jeff White managed to get one player to commit his stack with {k-}{q-} on a king-high board.

White had pocket aces and was pushing close to 80,000 in chips when Randy Lingenfelter raised it up to 4,500 and he defended his big blind.

The flop came {a-}{7-}{10-} and White checked. Lingenfelter made it 6,000 and White check-raised to 16,000. Lingenfelter called and the turn came the {2-Spades}.

White jammed in for around 50,000 having Lingenfelter barely covered. Lingenfelter called off with {a-}{j-} and needed help versus White's {a-}{k-}. He got none on the {4-Hearts} river and as he hit the exit, White moved up to the top of the counts.

Just A Little Patience

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Kristan Mackiewicz
Kristan Mackiewicz

Kristan Mackiewicz laid down two queens to a four-bet shove earlier, and had been barely surviving ever since.

Patience paid off a minute ago, however, as she got the last of her 21,600-chip stack in the middle with one caller and showed the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}. Mackiewicz was up against the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and as she called for all black cards, the board rolled out {2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{q-Spades}{10-Clubs}, giving her the timely double.

Foster Out Front

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Adam Foster
Adam Foster

In a hand that wrapped up at the end of Level 12, Adam Foster cooled off John Araujo to take the chip lead.

Araujo flopped top two on a {3-}{4-}{5-} board and Foster got it in with top set. Araujo was left with a few chips and two levels to try and rebuild while Foster will be looking to pad the lead before bagging.

Three-Way Action

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Cameron Bartolotta open-shoved late for under 25,000 and Tony Dojka looked him up on the button. Burt Kopaskie then ripped it in from the big blind for a little more and Dojka called.

Bartolotta: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Dojka: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Kopaskie: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The board rolled out {2-Clubs}{4-Spades}{k-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds} with Bartolotta's set of kings taking the main pot. Kopaskie managed to win the side versus Dojka, but gave the chips right back when he called off with {k-}{q-} versus Dojka's sevens a hand later and missed.
