He was heads up with Bruce Pace on an board with a few thousand in the middle already. Once they retrieved the chip, his bet was determined to be for 500, since all he said was five. Pace made it 3,000 and seat seven threw in an extra five...thousand, making it 8,000. Confused yet?

Pace called and after a brick on the river, seat seven fired out 6,000 at it. Pace had aces and deuces and looked him up. Seat seven claimed a ten and made a mental note not to try to bluff Pace again. Ever.
